The iPhone 5 comes with a more power, LTE, and a bigger screen. Everyone is excited to get hold of the new Apple creation and everyone is curious if it retains the top spot in the smartphone market.
Design
The looks of the iPhone 5 is not too far from the iPhone 4S. The iPhone 5 though makes the older sibling a bit heavier tipping the scale at just 112 grams. The screen too makes the other phones feel and look antiquated.
The new release is also thinne. The iPhone 5 is just 7.6 mm thin compared to the iPhone 4S and 4 at 9.3 mm. It is just razor thin. The new iPhone also has a longer chassis at 8.6 mm. It also gets a longer screen. The shape gives the phone a good grip plus Apple dropped the glass back and opted for an alumninum.
Display
The 4-inch display may work better than what you have been reading on early impression articles on the internet. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio, a resolution of 1136×640, and a pixel density of 326 ppi. The Apple designers also did something amazing with the screen as they moved it closer to the surface of the screen, so in effect, its lke touching ink and moving it just like what you see in Harry Potter films. The color is better, the contrast, and every aspect that you can think off.
Performance
This phone is fast. You may not feel or see the difference at first but you will see the improvements since the 4S when you try to snap a picture or snap a series of shots. The rendering for other graphic demanding games and apps gets no hiccups.
LTE
The iPhone jumps to the LTE and those who have access to a 4G coverage will surely enjoy fast data speeds that can be at par, if not better, than your home broadband.
Verdict
The iPhone 5 is amazing. Enough said.
